Under the Banner of Olympus
OLYMPUS GROUP
A Charter of Fellowship & Shared Hours
WOW: FOREVER
Let it be known that time is precious, and none who would adventure need waste it alone.
OLYMPUS GROUP is founded for the steadfast — parents, workers of the night, and all whose hours at the hearth of Azeroth are few and fixed. We gather not by chance of /who, but by covenant of schedule: that when a member logs in, a squad already waits, bound to the same window of time, ready to quest, delve, and level together.
Our Mission
To match players of limited playtime into lasting squads, so that every hour spent in-world is spent with purpose — and with people who will be there.
Of One Squad
The aim is a set group who log in at the same hour and work as one. A full squad has skills and stores no lone adventurer can match — we use them so scarce time at the hearth is spent well, and so the work each member came to do gets done. Along the way we keep good humor and make friends.
Each squad names the content it enjoys — its focus — and the hours it will keep. Apply where both the work and the clock fit.
A member who stands no watch for forty-five days — excused sessions count as standing — loses the seal and must petition again. A warning is sent at thirty days.
Laws of the Squad
- Membership in an Olympus guild is required to stand officially upon a squad's roster.
- Each squad is led by a Squad Leader, who names the squad and reviews all who apply.
- A squad posts its hours, focus, aims, and needs upon the recruitment board for all to see — Main and Secondary Names, levels, classes, and primary specs included.
- Applicants answer the herald's questions in the Discord; character and intent travel with the petition so an officer may judge fit before the seal is set.
- Only a Verified Olympus character may apply to a squad, raise one, or join a roster. Unverified members remain in #apply until an officer raises the seal.
- A squad that goes twenty-one days with no member check-in on the site is disbanded. At fourteen days silent the squad is warned; check in before the twenty-first day or the roster, Discord role, and squad channels are struck.
Conduct
- If you cause problems, you get banned.
- If you cause problems for other players, you get banned.
- If you and someone else cause problems because you have a problem with each other, you both get banned.
- Cause problems in any way: banned. Bans are final. No appeals.
- Squad leaders handle their own squad dynamics and may remove members.
- Reports need evidence — a clear explanation and at least one screenshot. Use #report.
The Oath
I will honor the hours I claim. I will show when the squad gathers. I will play for the good of the squad as well as my own. In scarce time, we make rich adventure.
